To live a successful Christian life, you need the gift of the Holy Spirit. He grants you the supernatural power to live your new life in Christ.

 

Jesus said in John 14:16 (ESV), ' And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.'

Therefore ask, believe, and receive!

 

 

PRAYER:

Father, I acknowledge that I need your power to live my new life in Christ. Please fill me with your fullness, Holy Spirit, and take charge of my life from this moment. By faith, I receive and welcome you into my life right now. Thank you heavenly Father for baptizing me with your precious Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen!

 

Congratulations! Now you're filled with the Holy Spirit. He has come to live in you and His power is available to you now. 1 John 2:27 (ESV) reads, '...his anointing teaches you about everything...abide in him.'

 

Furthermore, some vocabulary of a spiritual language you don't understand will rise up from your spirit to your lips, as though you're stammering (Read 1 Corinthians 14:14 NLT). Give it an expression and make the utterances audible by faith. By doing so, you're stirring up the power of the Holy Spirit available within you, thereby building yourself up in the Spirit (see Jude 1:20 KJV). You can do this as often as possible, whenever and wherever you like.

 

It's not a matter of whether you felt anything or not when you prayed to receive the Lord and His Spirit, if you believe in your heart that you received, then God will surely confirm it in your life. 'Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them' (Mark 11:24). God always honours His Word; therefore believe, receive Him and walk with Him!
