THE FEET OF THE SAINTS - PART 1

THURSDAY 03 OCTOBER 2024

I'm introducing a new topic, namely, "The Feet of The Saints", a figurative representation of the functionalism, as well as the functioning ability of the saints on earth. More below!

Reference: 1 Samuel 2:9 New King James Version (NKJV)

"He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail."

The above versified reference conveys a clear and precise understanding of what we are - the saints, followed by a sincere comprehension of what the wicked becomes in darkness which is what we cannot be. The wicked are silent in darkness. In other words, they can't open their mouth against evil practices and negative influences, because they are part of the darkness, and are helpless in it.

The latter part of the Scripture says:

For by strength shall no man prevail! Even a mighty man is not empowered by His own power.

Guarding the feet of the saints also implies that the saints are prompt to act or respond to life-changing instructions from the Spirit of God, and such instructions are accepted and actioned without reluctance. It also entails firmness of mind and will yielded to God's perfect will - both in good times and in the face of diversity, plus a mental or moral strength to withstand difficult situations, and prevail.

Guarding the feet of the saints also entails a training that corrects, molds, or perfects their moral character, so as to bring them under control - to be spiritually-minded, and to inspire or develop their faith walk through Biblical truths, principles and instructions. To that effect, Psalm 37:23 reads, "The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey." Which journey? The journey of faith, for the just shall live by faith. Now what is required of the saints? We are to be conscious of this gracious leading approach and accurate guidance from God.

It is that simple: When you yield your feet to be guarded, you will experience His light, plus His goodness and mercy in your day-to-day life. Therefore, be alive and alert to the divine signals, as well as perceptive in observing and responding to your guarded step. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Deuteronomy 33:3; Psalm 33:16-17; Proverbs 4:18; Psalm 37:28.

Exuberant Declaration:

I testify that my feet are continually guarded by the Lord through the understanding of exercising my faith in the Word. I practice the voice of His guidance in my day-to-day activities, which results in my peace and prosperity. Praise God!
