SHARING GOD'S GLORY WITH HIM - PART 3

WEDNESDAY 19 FEBRUARY 2025

Although today's article is still part of the introductory account of this topic sponsored and inspired by the Spirit, the topic's structure will be continually expounded as a steady progression of precise insight into analytical description of the 2 segments that make up the versified reference below!

Reference: John 17:22 English Standard Version (ESV)

"The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one."

By considering the above versified reference in a simplified manner of expression, the glory makes us fully awakened to a peculiar consciousness of exhibiting eternal belongingness to God, symbolic of an inextricable oneness with Godhead. How did I become one with Christ Jesus? By receiving Him as Saviour and by operating as a "god" known as a new creation.

To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 2nd Corinthians 5:16-17 reads,

"From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (ESV).

I hope you got this versified passage as self explanatory! Put in another way, if you are a born again Christian, you are in Christ, and therefore, you have become a god, known as the new creation. So as a god, you are no longer regarded according to the flesh or as an ordinary human being.

Did you know that apostle Paul was guilty of regarding Christ according to His human flesh? However, he later repented and confessed, "Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard Him thus no longer" (read again 2nd Corinthians 5:16). Then he admonished the saints in this manner: "From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh", and within the incisive obviousness of this statement, he made reference to the saints, as being gods on earth.

Undoubtedly, the real difference between the gods and the ordinary human beings is that the gods await their new body, which apostle Paul absolutely tied to an eternal communication of longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling in due eternity (see 2nd Corinthians 5:1-5 NIV).

Beloved, Christ dwells in our hearts, but we have to step into a lifestyle emblematic of His glory and manifest it, as well as work it out in our daily lives so it can profoundly unfold as living the supernatural life. What do I mean by this verity? In a nutshell, I will shed light on the revelation - below!

Now watch this: Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Colossians 1:27 reads, "God wanted to make the glorious riches of this secret plan known among the Gentiles, which is Christ living in you, the hope of glory" (CEB). Beloved, the glorious riches of this mystery is the indwelling of the Anointed (which is Christ in you!). This implies that firstly, Christ in you is the perfect archetype of continuous oneness with divinity in genetic expression, and it is expressive of the latter part of our referenced Scripture, which says: "that they may be one even as we are one."

Secondly, Christ in you is the "very hope of glory", meaning the gift of divine glory He has bestowed within you, bearing in mind that the glory God has given Christ has been given to you as a god. However, Christ in you doesn't automatically imply that you share His glory in "practice." He is resident in you, and that gives you the very assurance of sharing His glory with distinctive certainty.

For further informative clarity, in another version of Biblical translation, known as the New Living Translation, the perceptive comprehension based on a unique rendering says, "For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing His glory." Now its up to you to wisely comprehend how to activate the sharing of His glory while on earth - through your faith walk and mental faculty governed by the mind of Christ. Stay tuned for more on this revelatory insight in part 4. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Habakkuk 2:14; 1 Chronicles 29:11; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Ephesians 1:12.

Guided Prayer:

Gracious heavenly Father, I acknowledge your glory from this standpoint: It is specially wondrous in that it establishes a profound understanding of my superior existence on earth, as a supreme god in the Lord. Thank you for giving me your glory in full measure such that I have become one with Godhead, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
