SHARING GOD'S GLORY WITH HIM - PART 2

TUESDAY 18 FEBRUARY 2025

In the versified reference below, Jesus speaks of receiving God's glory in general terms, but then goes on to give a number of the special sharers in a very distinct order. More below!

Reference: John 17:22 English Standard Version (ESV)

"The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one."

It is so crystal clear after detailed analysis, that there is a conflation of two divine notions in the above versified reference:

1. The glory that you have given me I have given to them,

2. that they may be one even as we are one.

The first segment is about passing the gift of glory from Father to Son, and from Son to the gods, while the second segment is considered a divine faculty that gives the reason or an explanation for something given as a function of its end, its purpose, or its goal. So the glory was passed to the gods that they may be one with Godhead, even as God and Christ are one.

Mindfully speaking, discord and division have got nothing to do with God's glory, meaning that the Almighty Supreme, Christ and the gods are in this together. Are you with me? The glory of God is refreshingly free of discordance and any divergent concept, and it is totally void of office of the sharers functioning differently from or inconsistently with the standard of divinity.

Zero wonder beholding the glory causes us to conform to a standard and image of a particular type of person, namely Christ Jesus, which denotes consistent participation in spiritual oneness and inspiring understanding, rather than disunity or disharmony. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 2 Corinthians 3:18 reads, "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit" (ESV).

In accordance with 2nd Corinthians 3:18, did you notice the informative expression, "into the same image"? The versified statement is a primary source of truth, conveying a profound acknowledgement, where this oneness is made manifestly clear. So its got nothing to do with conforming into several images, but the condition of being one even as God-Christ are one, which in turn, attunes to the transfiguring effects of the very nature of Godhead.

Sharing the glory of God is a higher reality, indicating that the gods do not experience any decline in the value or become less in demonstrating its originality, as they behold it. Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!
