ROYAL HEADSHIP - PART 6

Every born again Christian is invaluable in God's sight. As a chosen race, you must embrace the understanding that you are supernatural and valuable beyond estimation. Question: What makes you invaluable? The precious blood of Jesus!

To that effect, Petrine epistolary dictum numbered as 1st Peter 1:18-19 reads, "For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God" (NLT). Beloved, you are not an ordinary person, but an extraordinary species in Christ.

"Then He picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. Now God has us where He wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus."

In this article, I am still focused on expounding the second segment which reads:

Now God has us where He wants us, with all the time in this world.

There are two kinds of remark that I must craft as an expository cognizance in order to bring you to the full understanding of this segment before us. The first is what I expatiated in part 5 (Now God has us where He wants us...), while the second is "with all the time in this world."

Indeed, God has us where He wants us, but for how long? With all the time in this world, which denotes as long as the earth remains. So our royal headship is our permanent office in this present world. As royalties, we reign in earthly life because this is what God desires for us, as long as the earth remains. To that effect, Romans 5:17 reads, "For if because of the offense of one, death reigned, all the more, those who receive an abundance of favor and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by the agency of The One, Yeshua The Messiah" (ABPE). All who have received God's abundant grace and are freely put right with Him must understand that they are designed to function with a headship or reigning mentality in this life through Christ, and in eternity or the age to come.

What does it mean to receive God's abundant grace and to be put right with Him? Both gifts are the great influence of being born of God, by the agency of the Holy Spirit. So the "new creation" is the most powerful being on earth because he has received the grace and nature of God, which are the products of God's undeserved favour in the scheme of redemption. And the supply of this grace is in abundance in Christ. To that effect, the gospel of John reads, "For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace" (John 1:16 NASB).

If abundance of grace be true and available in Christ, then it is not limited to one single point of the believing in Christ and accepting Him as Saviour and Lord; it goes beyond that, meaning that receiving abundance of grace is an ongoing process of reception that must be widened out to cover the entire aspects of your Christian life, both inwardly and outwardly (see also Hebrews 4:16).

Therefore, to reign as the head in life through the office and influence of royal headship, you must open the door of your heart wide to plentiful supply of supernatural grace. Stay tuned for part 7. Shalom!
