REANIMATION - PART 7

Reference: 2nd Corinthians 4:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day."

Today's article is majored on the last segmentary part of our referenced Scripture:

"Yet our inner person is being renewed day by day."

Now watch this: A remarkable revelation was echoed in the same chapter where apostle Paul speaks of the treasured power of Christ in us, and it reads:

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV).

So what makes the difference in us? This treasure in our earthen vessels, otherwise, according to apostle Paul, if you only look at the outer person, you might well miss the excellency of this treasure. That's the sum total of Pauline epistolary platitude stated in our referenced Scripture.

We carry this precious treasure and mindful heavenly message around in our unadorned clay pots of ordinary corporeal vessel. And that conditions the mind of anyone from assuming that its got to do with outward appearance, rather than God's incomparable power working in us. So you can now understand the reason Paul used the phraseology: "though our outer person is wasting away," which in a proper sense, denotes that they were not much of weighty mien to look at" yet their inner person is loaded with supreme power, and its being renewed or reanimated day by day.

Wait a minute - who are these sets of people, whose inner person is constantly getting renewed?

The answer is noted in the New Living Translation of Ephesians 2:13, which reads, "But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to Him through the blood of Christ." They are those who have been united with Christ Jesus by virtue of initiation. In other words, it was Christ who formed and established association that initiated many persons, through His shed blood on the cross, and by the power of His resurrection.

The author of the book of Hebrews could visualize the initiated persons in the spiritual realm, who are statedly assembling at certain sacred domain, known as mount Zion. To that effect, Hebraic awakening indication reads, "But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel" (NIV).

Now if you arrive at mount Zion, your mindset must be altered and reanimated in order for it to align with the mind of Christ. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 1st Corinthians 2:16 reads, "For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart" (AMPC).

I know that after reading this sort of Scripture, somewhere right now, somebody is wondering, "How can you confidently guide, instruct or give a whole Almighty-Supreme Deity a knowledge? Simply put, that's another inspired usage for ministering to the Almighty! And you can't instruct and minister to the Almighty, without the fixed mind of Christ, because that is the true and only mind Supreme DEITY concurs with.

For instance, Christ instructed God with such mind, and gave Him an accurate knowledge below:

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me (John 17:22-23 ESV).

To expound this verity with utmost clarity, it is only the "reanimated" initiated that can understand the mind of Christ. Therefore, to instruct, guide and give Supreme Deity an acceptable knowledge, is to emerge in the mind realm of Christ successfully, and respond from there.

To constantly emerge and be actively present with His mind, your soul must be saved enough to sustain the counsels and purposes of His heart in your mind as you walk the earth. On account of this verity, you must be willing to humbly accept or receive the implanted word, which is able to build you up and save your soul on a daily basis (Acts 20:32 NLT; James 1:21 ESV).

When His mind system is functioning within us effectually, we exert a vast level of godly influence. Through the accurate perception of the Word, we become more aware of (and can victoriously respond to) our environmental and situational events with such an exceptional mind. We also exercise His "mind" perception in our daily communication full of gratitude and gracious words, enabling us to face life's activities in an exhilarating and fulfilling manner.

More so, we demonstrate His "mind" perception in our actionable behaviour while making vital decisions with lasting impression. And we perceive things in the right way continuously - with the same mind of Christ, as we regularly spend a great deal of time cogitating on the Word - with ardent alacrity. Stay tuned for part 8. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Psalm 1:2; Proverbs 4:23; Psalm 1:2; Philippians 4:8.

Exuberant Declaration:

My alacritous cogitation on the Word awakens my spiritual senses, such that I often sustain present moments of Christ's mind in my heart and spirit, which in turn, transform my life into the glorious image of God. Hallelujah!
