REANIMATION - PART 5
SATURDAY 22 MARCH 2025
Reanimation is the act of gaining and establishing a renewal of spiritual liveliness and godly virtues in the twofold inner person of any man created anew in Christ. A constantly reanimated inner man regularly acts upon Word -enabled divine principles, and is driven by a heavenly "new rules" approach, based on the leading of the Spirit. More below!

Reference: 2nd Corinthians 4:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day."
Today's article is still on the segment:
"Yet our inner person is being renewed day by day."
What an important twofold inner man: soul and spirit!
When our twofold inner person consistently gets reanimated, we begin to gain and establish the right view of spiritual character, in accordance with the pure and holy purpose for which we were chosen and called in Christ Jesus. Henceforth, we can experience the wondrous ways that the inner person triumphs by faith over all the misery that sin and death have introduced into this world.
Why does reanimation play a pivotal role in the life and world of every born again Christian? This is mainly to align or conform to the position we are seated with Christ: The right hand of God. Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Ephesians 2:6 reads, "For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus" (NLT).
We've been granted a position of honour and authority with Christ, at the right hand of Supreme Deity, which signifies that as gods, we function from a place of power, new identity and uncommon privileges. For this reason, divine reanimation is of vital importance, in order to successfully live as those made alive to God in the realm of supreme authority.
On account of this truth, Pauline epistolary expression reads, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:1-3 NIV).
Now watch this: Pauline communication in this very versified passage exhorted us to set the two important aspects of inner being on things above, namely heart and mind. Where are the things above? The position of honour and authority with Christ, who is seated at the right hand of Supreme Deity. Why must we do so? For the sole purpose of reanimation.
It is very true that a new heart is given at new birth, but it is still our responsibility to always set the new heart right - on things above, as long as the earth remains, because of lying vanities that can entice the heart. Zero wonder Solomonic inspired utterance reads, "Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life" (Proverbs 4:23 NHEB).
Whenever you incautiously allow negativity or doubt to invade or take up space in your heart and mind, you're leaving them unguarded, unpatrolled or defenceless, and it is quite deprecatory, because contrary influences and wrong perspectives are not consistent with your position of honour and authority with Christ. To promptly terminate such thoughts, you must reanimate your heart and mind with God's Word, which bears the enlightening, didactic and edifying image of the heavenly.
By registering and subscribing to the relevant truths, godly wisdom and accurate spiritual understanding become your inner influence, and by speaking them forth, eternal truths will easily prevail over all negative thoughts or doubt, and effectually banish them far from your heart and mind, such that you continue to physically align with your position where you are seated with Christ, at the right hand of God, victoriously fulfilling your purpose in Christ on earth.
Scripture Reading - Ezekiel 36:26; Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Philippians 4:7.
Exuberant Declaration:
The thoughts and purposes of God are firmly established in my heart; His perfect will and glorious counsel surely prevail in my life at all times, owing to my inward being, which is constantly renewed in Jesus Christ. Praise God!
