REANIMATION - PART 1
TUESDAY 18 MARCH 2025
Reanimation is a renewal of liveliness or vigour, and the imagery is that of every detail pertaining your inner life - working to your advantage and to God's glory, through the influence of receiving more and more grace and effusing more and more praise, signifying total liveliness and vigour.

Reference: 2nd Corinthians 4:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day."
Although the above versified reference firstly mentioned about not losing heart or becoming discouraged, considering the fact that the apostle acknowledged their outer person as perhaps getting through, that was Pauline sensory impression regarding his own outer person, and I will shed more light on this notion as I progress in my expository structure regarding this topic.
In a more convincing precision, apostle Paul could also literally imply that even though on the outside, it often looked like things were quite challenging and falling apart, they had no reason to despair, because on the inside, God was renewing their new life with ebullient strength and vitality, such that not one day went by, without His unfolding grace evidentially activated in their lives.
The two natures involved in Pauline epistolary description here are:
The outward nature of humanity.
The inward nature of humanity.
He noted that the inward nature of the saints' humanity is being renewed day by day, and that's our main focus in this topic. Why so? The Spirit of Christ now dwells in the saints - as a fulfilment of the new covenant - and on account of His active indwelling, the saints are continually transformed.
This transformation is rooted in a continual way of comprehending the revelation of God's mystery: Jesus Himself, the One who radiates God's glory in us, thereby conditioning us to conform to the very image of God. Through this constant Spirit-enabled encounter, we experience a new way of living and therefore, we crescively come to Christ-like resemblance as we reflect His glory in our hearts and lives - from one degree to another.
Beloved, if you belong to Christ Jesus and you live in accordance with His Word, you are being transformed by God's glory in the inward being, and there is a growing sound of progressive pep and vibrancy being emitted by all those relishing in the glory of God. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!
