PROPHESY OF GREATEST GRAIL STAR - PART 6

FRIDAY 14 MARCH 2025

Reference: Numbers 24:17 New International Version (NIV)

"I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth."

In line with our versified reference, today's focus is majored on the fifth segmentary part -

"He will crush the foreheads of Moab"

This segment literally means that Jesus will indomitably manifest in mighty ways, accomplishing effortless exploits and heroic deeds. Now crushing the foreheads of Moab is rough in nature, and its a fortified nation. Admittedly, no one could conquer the nation that way; it was only attributed to the Lord Jesus Christ, affirming His Supreme deity and eternal reign.

The Moabites were members of a Semitic people living in Moab in Biblical times, who traditionally descended from Lot, because Moab was Lot's son. The Moabites maintained hostile relations with the Israelites, and regularly harassed them in war. However, Balaam was prophetically and metaphorically speaking about how the Messiah would conquer the enemies of God's people, break the staff of the wicked, and the scepter of their rulers.

Undoubtedly this "crushing" is revelatory in nature, and therefore, gaining the accurate understanding that it was God speaking - is of paramount importance, which is to say that God disclosed this information to Balaam through vision, on what grounds? On the grounds that the Moabites were a rebellious nation. So this crushing is to subdue those acts of rebellion against God and their oppressive platforms, that is, their temples and their warriors, because they were God's enemies.

A psalm of David in accordance with Psalm 110:1 reads, "The LORD says to my lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet" (NIV). Again this is "God-Christ" divine dialogue. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 1st Corinthians 15:25 reads, "For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet." Now the Messiah has come to fulfil His earthly ministry, and has conquered the real spiritual enemy, which is the Devil and His cohorts, and therefore the saints receive Christ Jesus as Lord, who has saved them by His resurrection power, and has ascended into heaven, exaltedly seated at God's right hand - with angels, authorities and powers in submission to Him (1 Peter 3:22 NIV).

In his epistolary expressions, Paul presented Christ's resurrection as the birth of a new creation, who bear the inscription of His victory on the cross - in their spirit. On account of this verity, the Amplified Bible version of 1st Corinthians 15:57 reads, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ," and that victory is anchored to our faith-based expressions. Hence, the new creation don't have to wait until Christ's return in the future to experience this Spirit-enabled victorious life in Christ because the victory is already theirs in the Lord, which can be well activated by actionable faith strategies based on the Word. So the Lord still crushes the foreheads of spiritual Moab through our victorious faith walk.

Beloved, this exceptional grail star, namely Christ, has made an extraordinary impact on fields, including the gift of faith, which is rooted in one's proclamation of Christ as Lord and Saviour, the assurance of unquestionable victory that comes through an intimate relationship with God the Father, and the consciousness of living that victorious life on earth through faith-filled obedience to God's will. Stay tuned for part 7. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Deuteronomy 20:4; John 16:33; Romans 8:37; 1 John 5:4.

Guided Prayer:

Gracious Father in heaven, I'm so grateful that my victorious existence on earth affirms and fulfils the original intent of a new creation, which is the cornerstone of a total satisfactory experience of Christ's victory on the cross. The enemy is a defeated foe, and as a sign of Christ's triumphalism, I function boldly as a steady conqueror in my world through my active faith in the Word, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
