NO WORD FROM GOD WILL EVER FAIL - PART 6

Indeed it was a great miraculous encounter for Elizabeth, the wife of Zachariah. The Bible says, 'Now after those days, his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, "Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people"' (Luke 1:24 NKJV).

Think about it: A barren woman became pregnant at old age, and I believe that for that reason, she went into seclusion for five months, considering the preposterous nature of her divine visitation. "How kind the Lord is!" she exclaimed. "He has taken away my disgrace of having no children." What was the mystery behind this miraculous deed? The words from God!

"Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail."

Firstly, do you actually know the Deity we are associated with? I mean the calibre of Supreme God we serve? Are you aware of His pre-eminence both in heaven and on earth? If you know Him and you require such miraculous intervention, remind yourself that you are the next in line. The Bible says this about the Almighty in Isaiah 46:5-11

"To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal? Some people pour out their silver and gold and hire a craftsman to make a god from it. Then they bow down and worship it! They carry it around on their shoulders, and when they set it down, it stays there. It can't even move! And when someone prays to it, there is no answer. It can't rescue anyone from trouble. Do not forget this! Keep it in mind! Remember this, you guilty ones. Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. I will call a swift bird of prey from the east - a leader from a distant land to come and do my bidding. I have said what I would do, and I will do it" (NLT).

Beloved, the "high status" importance of the God we serve is to infinity and beyond, owing to His marked sovereignty and supremacy. He does "unexplainable" and "unimaginable" wonders. He is the only true God that can explain how an old woman, known as Elizabeth (the mother of John the Baptist), achieved a world-changing pregnancy, and how He made it happen for the biblical Matriarch, Sarah, the wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac. Indeed, these women experienced the coded cognizance of conception through the mystery of a womb that had expired in terms of agedness and child bearing. What about Hannah, the barren woman? Hannah got to the point of yielding herself to intense sorrow and deep anguish, crying bitterly, with a dolorous expression - as she prayed to the Lord, and the same God turned the situation around in her favour, such that she became Samuel's mother.

I may not know who you are, but I have a golden news for you: God Himself loves you unconditionally and knows you on a personal level. This is why He sent Jesus Christ to come - just for your sake. So He knows everything about that challenge or barrenness. Therefore, no matter how hard or challenging it may seem, if you truly desire to see the fulfilment of His promises, His plans, and the expectations you have in your heart, then prepare your heart to receive the miraculous, and refuse to become weary in pressing forward by faith and prayerful exuberance, come what may, for at the right time, you'll experience the supernatural and see God complete His work in your life, if you do not give up.
