LEGENDARY ADVANCEMENT - PART 9

The need to always gain the knowledge of God's Word is a right desire which comes with all purity of intention. So if you desire to receive divine comfort with an eye to its maximum impacts, find out who is responsible for manifesting those profitable impacts - through the Word of God. More below!

"Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem."'

In part 6 of this topic, I mentioned that God had the ability to provide quantifiable measures of comforting outcomes for Zion, meaning that issues surrounding Zion's comfort were addressed again, denoting a "variableness and adjustability" in the density and heaviness of His wrath. I also considered what this "variableness and adjustability" implied; He exhibited a remarkable tendency to adjust and change His furious attitude towards them.

Did you know what it really meant for God to withhold mercy and compassion from Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, as a result of having indignation and anger against them for seventy years of their Babylonian captivity? It seemed like an unchanging nature of unfavourable situation, and in part 8, I pointed out the negative effects the longevity of an adverse condition can have on a thought pattern, especially where there has been an absence of comfort. 70 years is not 70 days.

Doubtlessly, there are inevitable challenges of life; however if your hope and faith have been negatively influenced by challenging times, and you believe that hope means nothing to you anymore, what I'm already thinking is that you don't have the right source of hope. That's why the first step to gaining hope against all odds is not to keep talking about the terribleness of any unfavourable situation, but to accept the one and only Saviour of the world, as your Lord and establish a personal level of His loving relationship in your life. Why must it start with receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord? The New King James Version of Luke 4:18-19 describes His ability to transform your life and recondition your mindset below:

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."

Beloved, from the human standpoint, such people may think that its really hard to become hopeful again, because they don't have any space left in the tablet of their hearts to accommodate and acknowledge the light of anticipation and to cultivate more hopeful thoughts, let alone actioning the behavioural modification and capability that promote hopeful and thriving confidence, but hear me: The Lord Jesus Christ Himself says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV).
